Our Credentials & Founder
iJuniorGolf was founded by Nick Kumpis, PGA. Nick currently runs the teaching programs at Santa Ana Country Club in Southern California. Nick was recognized as a U.S. Kids Master Kids Teacher in 2011 after being named a U.S. Kids Top 50 Kids Instructor from 2008 to 2010. Nick was also recognized in 2011 as a Golf Tips Magazine Top 25 Instructor.
Nick has taught golf professionally for 13 years and has conducted thousands of junior golf lessons, schools, camps, and clinics. Nick has developed and run three different junior programs at Anaheim Hills GC, Pelican Hill GC, and Santa Ana Country Club. Prior to that, Nick traveled the country teaching for the ESPN Golf Schools and the Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools. Nick has always had a passion for teaching junior golf and trying to grow the game. He came up with the concept for iJuniorGolf when he realized juniors needed a fun way to learn and parents wanted to teach their kids with the help of a PGA professional, but couldn’t always do private lessons.
Nick has worked with some of the top instructors in the country, including Mike Malaska (Golf Digest #15), Hank Haney (Golf Digest #11) and the late, great Hall of Fame Teacher Jim Flick. When creating iJuniorGolf Nick consulted with other PGA professionals and condensed 13 years of teaching juniors into the games and drills that kids enjoy and respond to most.
